Another week has past here in The wonderful country of chile! This week has been a hard one, but it has also been filled with the spirit! Me and my companion have found 11 new Investigators which is awesome. I am so excited to work with them! We also set 3 more baptismal dates! They are a bunch of teenage girls, good thing my companion is attractive or else they probably wouldnt have wanted a lesson haha jk. But really these girls are awesome! They are all awesome and just waiting to have the gospel in their lifes! Our golden girl Jocelyn decided that she didnt want anymore lessons which is sad because she was so awesome! But I know that the lord works in crazy ways and he will prepare people for us to teach!
Okay so here is a little more about chile, my companion and I have to walk everywhere!! So we walk about 5 to 6 miles a day! The food here is pretty similar to the food in the states. We have potatoes, soup, kethup, mayo and mustard with pretty much every meal. The meat here is pretty sketchy but it tastes good most of the time haha. So they like empanandas here alot! I love them too! But yesterday I had an empanada that i didnt like so much... It was an all fish empanada that had some kind of fish with tentacles in it and it had egg yolk in there, it was alright i guess but i have definitly had better! We eat at a members house every single day! We usually eat at hermana alejandras house, she is so awesome! She is a convert of 4 years and she is the district primary president. The spanish is coming along awesome! I have learned so much and last night i talked to someone all by myself. SO that was pretty exciting. It is still hard to understand sometimes because the people here speak so fast!!! But the work is awesome and I love it!
So what is going on in the sports world? Savannah told me that Kobe Bryant tore his achilles. That is so sad! I guess thats what happens though when you play in the NBA for over half your life. Also I am so glad to hear about some of the success that is happening right now in the springville track program! Justin i am proud of you for taking first in the long jump, that is so awesome! I am glad to hear that Jessi and Jake are doing so well! Its so crazy to think that they are gonna be seniors next year! I am glad to hear that my sisters, Bailey and Mikayla and the rest of my other siblings are doing awesome as well. When I say siblings I mean my family and the ollerton family. Of course my family including the ewings. But I want you to know that I love you all so so so much. I know that this is where i am supposed to be at this time in my life. I love this work so much. Mom I love and miss you like crazy and i want you to know that you will always be my best friend. To my family I love and miss you tons! To matt and wendy, I love and miss you alot!! I am sure that Justin is gonna look smokin hot at prom hahah. Have such an amazing week!! Until next week let the lord bless you as you do all you things.Love you all, Elder Miyasaki
